Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 June 2026

Dawerlee is a platform that connects workers and employers. We are not an agency or employer, and we do not handle visas or sponsorship — but we do process the personal data you give us to run the marketplace, as described below.

Dawerlee Co. W.L.L. ("Dawerlee", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. It is written to align with Kuwait's data-protection framework, including the Data Privacy Protection Regulation issued by the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA).

1. Information we collect

Information workers provide. When you create a worker profile you provide information such as your name, contact details (phone / WhatsApp), photo, CV, work history, skills, nationality/residence (city and country), gender, and expected salary. You choose what to publish, and you author and control it.

Information employers provide. When you register as an employer you provide information such as your name, business name, contact details, and the information needed to process payments.

Information we collect automatically. Basic usage and device data (for example, log data, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your device) needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Payment information. Payments are processed by MyFatoorah. Your full card details are handled by the payment provider; Dawerlee does not store them.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to: operate the marketplace and match workers with employers; show worker profiles to employers; reveal a worker's contact details to an employer who has paid to reveal them; process payments and manage subscriptions; communicate with you about your account and the service; keep the platform safe (moderation, fraud and abuse prevention); and comply with our legal obligations.

Our legal basis for processing is, depending on the activity: your consent (which you can withdraw at any time); the performance of our agreement with you (these Terms); compliance with our legal obligations; and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the platform. Where Kuwait law requires your explicit consent to process your personal data, we rely on the consent you give when you create your account and publish your profile.

3. The reveal model and your contact details

A core feature of Dawerlee is that a worker's private contact details are hidden by default and are disclosed to an employer only after that employer pays to reveal them. By publishing a worker profile, you understand and agree that your contact details will be shared with an employer who reveals you. Pre-reveal, your contact details are not visible to other users.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:

  • with the other party, through the reveal model described above;
  • with service providers who help us run Dawerlee — our payment processor (MyFatoorah), hosting and infrastructure providers, and email/communications providers — under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
  • where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or Dawerlee.

5. Where your data is stored and international transfers

Dawerlee's data is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure located in the European Union (eu-west-1 region). If you are in the GCC, this means your personal data is transferred to and stored outside your country. We only use providers that maintain strong security and internationally recognized data-protection standards, and we apply appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers as required by Kuwait law.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 12 months, except for records we are required to keep for longer — in particular financial and transaction records, which we retain for as long as required by applicable Kuwait commercial and tax law (typically up to 7 years).

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent at any time. Workers can also edit or delete most of their information directly from their profile at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@dawerlee.com. We will respond within the period required by law.

8. Security

We protect your data with measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and the contact-reveal gate that keeps worker contact details hidden until a reveal is purchased. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit who can access it. If a personal-data breach affecting your information occurs, we will act promptly and notify CITRA and affected users where required, within the timeframe set by law.

9. Cookies and sessions

We use only essential cookies — specifically, the session cookies that keep you signed in and that operate and secure the service. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers, so no cookie-consent banner is required.

10. Children

Dawerlee is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.

12. Contact and complaints

Questions, requests, or complaints about your privacy? Email info@dawerlee.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA), Kuwait's data-protection regulator.
